Posting at the same time each day can be very beneficial. It sets up a routine to avoid those occasional lapses in memory. Using Google Calendar or the calendar on your phone until you get into the swing of things will help you know which content you want to post and at what day/time to post them.
People want to follow users who keep their content updated. Not only that, it also keeps your response rate to users consistent.
2. Use Graphics
Graphics bring life to your timeline. They’re a disruption from the copy that can overwhelm your page. If the graphic is interesting enough, it forces the user to stop and recognize your brand. While using a graphic is a great way to create disruption, it must also coincide with your already established branding.
A consumer must recognize a correlation between the graphic and your logo, your color scheme, your packaging, your website, etc. Not all of us are experts when it comes to Adobe software.

3. Keep It Short
Nobody wants to sit and read paragraphs of copy, especially from a business. The shorter the better, especially when paired with a graphic or photo. When creating copy, check to see if you can portray the same idea in a more condensed way. If the answer is yes, then go back to the drawing boards. If no, then you’re good to go!
4. Use Hashtags Effectively
When it comes to hashtags, your goal is not to be a middle school pre-teen who just started their first Instagram account. In other words, stuffing as many hashtags into one post as you can for the sake of views is not a strategic move.
Your audience is smart; they can tell when a business is trying too hard. Make sure every hashtag is justified and fits seamlessly into the copy. Keep the hashtags specific, but not TOO specific.
A generic one can be pushed down the page very quickly. If it’s too specific, no one will ever view your post under the hashtag you included. Do your best to find a happy medium.
5. Utilize Engagement
Users want content that they can interact with and share. As a company, you want the same thing. Engagement takes many forms. A great of example of this is polls.
Obviously, Facebook and Twitter are the only places you can really do these, but people love to share their opinion on everything. Polls allow them to do that in an interactive way and then see if the majority agrees.
