Anyone who’s ever had to deep clean their balcony, windows, or any other part of their home has probably come into contact with the yellow, white, and black power cleaning powerhouse, Kärcher.

Kärcher is a German brand and a global producer of high-pressure cleaners, floor care equipment, and other cleaning systems. Over the years, the company has grown its headcount to 14,000 people in 150 locations across 78 countries.

But having such an impactful global presence means that there’s a lot of marketing content that needs to be produced, approved, and distributed worldwide.

Product renderings, video content, application images, website improvements, and other marketing activities all need a unified Kärcher look and feel.

So how does a big brand like Kärcher do it?

Here’s what Johannes Morath, Manager Marketing Projects Home & Garden, says about growing and centralizing their marketing review process with Filestage.

Outgrowing the email-led review process

In the past, the company solely relied on email communications to manage the post-production and approval of its marketing materials. But, with an increasing number of stakeholders and reviewers this was simply too inefficient.

After benchmarking various project management tools, they set their mind on Filestage. And even though it was supposed to be their dedicated video review solution, it quickly became a go-to tool for various asset types.

“Since rolling out Filestage, we’ve saved hundreds of hours on our artwork reviews. The tool allows multiple stakeholders to simultaneously review multiple projects in the most transparent way.”

Bringing everyone together in one review tool

To make sure they deliver high-quality content across every channel, Kärcher collaborates with external agencies and freelancers. And in the past two years they brought together 287 stakeholders in Filestage to review their marketing content.

Morath says, “From product images to online banners and application videos, Filestage gives our suppliers and agencies a centralized platform to submit creative assets for feedback and approval. This helps us deliver content at speed and scale.”

Filestage is the simplest and the most intuitive solution

Soon after implementing Filestage for video reviews, the company realized its potential for all their marketing content. And little by little, they added different departments and use cases to the tool.

Now, they have 36 team members who have reviewed over 2,400 files in just a couple of years.

“We don’t force anyone in the team to use Filestage. Yet, everyone sees its value and is happy to use it.”

And the numbers are here to prove it. In 2022, the team reviewed 17 files per month. Now, they’re averaging 223 files per month.

“Filestage is one of the few tools that I think many people can start using without having to read a manual,” says Morath. “It is definitely one of our favorite marketing software!”
